Amira's been making a name for herself on the classic country music radio circuit since 2009 when she joined WKCR-FM. As primary host of the Tennessee Border Show for the last six years, Amira prides herself on endearing the toughest music snobs to the heart, soul, and wit of classic country music. Her pleasant and slightly sassy on-air persona often reminds listeners of their favorite diner waitress.

Amira's amateur radio career started in 2003 when she earned a coveted DJ position at WVFS Tallahassee. For two years she honed her on-air skills hosting overnight, mid-day, and morning drive shifts.
